The self-powered siren NEKA of Bentel Security represents a point of reference in the field of detectors, optical-acoustic technology with microprocessor control that guarantees great accuracy of operation.
The presence of 4 different inputs for the individual activation of the audible and visual warning and the possibility to program 2 different sets of sounds greatly extends the field of application of the single mermaid. And can, for example, to handle different sounds for installations that are too close, thereby avoiding confusion to the users, or use different sounds for different types of alarm. Four different alarm inputs, two of which have programmable polarity, ensure the compatibility of NEKA with the totality of the central safety systems.
The mermaid also offers an effective functionality of the self-diagnosis, both the lamp and the battery (only NEKA and NEKA-F), where the level and efficiency are constantly monitored. Any reports of failure are listed both locally and in central through the appropriate outputs. The siren is also equipped with a safety system which, in the case in which the battery is discharged, the residual energy will be used for the emission of the sound while the indicator will be turned off (only NEKA and NEKA-F).
In addition to the established protections on all the sirens (break-in, removal, cutting cables), on the models NEKA-F and NEKA-FS is offered a further hedge against the injection of foam, which is particularly effective thanks to the use of a detection dual. The tough plastic material used and the internal protection of metal sealed guarantee resistance to atmospheric agents virtually unlimited.
